Hidden.

I have a burning question
But an answer I don't need
Hidden in the deepest
This feeling that I breed

Confused by caring words
of wisdom and friendship true
Wondering of the possibilities
What I should or shouldn't do

Love is too general
Too complicated to comprehend
In this confusion that I am in
All I ever need is a friend

He is the friend I need
And he is the friend indeed
But what if...

What if...
My heart is beckoned so
And I might love him a little more
than a friend ever should?

I have a burning question
